Farewell Ivor

After being in March brass 2000 for over 70years.

We said goodbye to one of our oldest members.

So enjoy your retirement.

Plaque and Book of the history of the band and his life in the band also flowers for his wife Betty was given to him by the bands Chairman Peter Sutterby.

A huge congratulations to our player of the year for the junior band Jenson High. He has been playing the Euphonium for 18 months and plays in the junior band with his older brother Jack who has recently just passed his Grade 3 Trombone with high-merit. Well done boys!

Big congratulations to Peter Sutterby who this year is celebrating for being associated with brass bands for 70 years.

Started playing at the age of 6 with the Salvation Army and in some way or another has been either playing or been in the background and is now President and Chairman of the March Brass 2000.
Peter has done a lot of work over the years in raising funds for the band and organising many events.
Biggest ever achievement for him was when getting Brighouse and Rastrick band coming to March in 2016 to help the band celebrate its 125 years.
